Rachel Rowney
Rachel is an experienced consultant and researcher who specialises in learning networks and communities of practice. She designs national learning events, learning sets, and workshops for the National Neighbourhood Management Network. She also has strong experience carrying out policy research and report writing, particularly around neighbourhood renewal, community engagement, and LSP development.
She has worked on numerous assignments in the areas of local authority partnership development, economic regeneration, community development and neighbourhood renewal. Rachel is a skilled interviewer and community researcher. She also produces high quality written outputs in a variety of forms including formal reports, case studies, media articles, and policy briefing notes. Her current assignments include investigating and writing good practice case studies on successful strategic partnerships.
Prior to joining Si Rachel worked for the London Borough of Croydon serving as a presiding officer during local elections, providing face-to-face advice to excluded individuals as part of a voter registration project and conducting analysis of school travel routes to support the development of Croydon’s extended schools.
