Digital Leadership Skills programme for libraries

The core of our Digital Leadership Skills programme for libraries is a 3-day course designed in partnership with the Society of Chief Librarians (SCL). The content was inspired by our 2014 research for SCL into the digital and leadership skills needs of public library services. Working with Ethan Ohs, bringing expertise in leadership programme design, we co-designed and piloted course with seventeen library professionals. Digital leadership skills for libraries

Shared Intelligence’s horizon-scanning and skills research on digital leadership skills for the Society of Chief Librarians engaged more than 200 existing heads of libraries and future library leaders. The study looked at the digital trends affecting the library sector, and the skills library service managers will need in order to respond to the future challenges and opportunities.
