Matthew Daley is a Principal Consultant at Shared Intelligence specialising in economic analysis and regeneration strategy and policy development.

Matthew is a trained economist, fluent in a range of quantitative and qualitative methods and in the production of high quality written analysis for working papers and final reports. He has been the prime author of a number of highly complex pan-regional, sub-regional, and local strategies. Many of these strategies have been prepared in response to the Government’s growth agenda and therefore cover a range of policy issues including economic development, skills, housing, transport, and spatial planning.

Matthew has worked for a number of different agencies in three of the four ‘Growth Areas’. He has worked most extensively in the Thames Gateway undertaking projects with CLG, the three subregional partnerships, the three RDAs and local partners including Southend URC and Thurrock UDC. He is currently supporting the subregional partnerships in North Kent and South Essex with the preparation of Multi Area Agreements. Matthew joined Shared Intelligence in 2003.
