Facilitate processes to build consensus and provide constructive challenge

One consequence of partnership working and integrated, whole system approaches is that the task of sense-making and strategy formulation is more complex.

The task is often one of consensus building between people with very different starting points. There can be sensitive, often hidden organisational dynamics to work with.

We bring a range of skills to this task, including the design and facilitation of large scale strategic choice decision-making events and an ability to create safe spaces for difficult conversations.

We can also:

  • Design and facilitate strategy-making processes, including, for example, simulation days and external challenge events;
  • Ensure that opportunities are available for organisational and individual learning;
  • Support the process of analysis, sense-making and the shaping of recommendations and conclusions;
  • Consulting to and acting as a critical friend or mentor to key groups and individuals.
