Evaluate the impact of programmes and projects and support self-evaluation

Research and evaluation has most impact if it is designed to support learning and improvement, and if the findings are disseminated widely. We are committed to working in this way.

We have expertise in a range of qualitative and quantitative analytical methods. We select those which are most appropriate for individual assignments, providing a bespoke approach for each client.

We provide social and economic research and evaluation to government departments, local authorities, local partnerships, other public bodies and the third sector.

Examples of specific methods include:

  • Theory-based frameworks, including theory of change;
  • Change analysis using a full range of quantitative data;
  • Stakeholder analysis of qualitative data, including interviews and focus groups;
  • Critical incident analysis to construct “client journeys”;
  • Advice and support for self-evaluation;
  • Training and managing community and peer researchers.
