Local strategic partnerships (LSPs) are established in all local authority areas in England. They enable residents, community organisations, businesses, local authorities and other public agencies to come together to agree a vision and priorities for their area.
In future, Sustainable Community Strategies will play a greater role in ‘place shaping’, helping local authorities to fulfil their responsibility for the well-being of an area, in understanding local needs and priorities and integrating the delivery of local services.
We work with Local Strategic Partnerships to develop Sustainable Community Strategies and the Local Area Agreements which enable their delivery. Shared Intelligence works with partners to:
create a shared vision for the future
identify priorities for partnership working
setting challenging targets for improved service delivery
Through our Local Area Agreement learning network (LAA.net) we support practitioner efforts to achieve their priorities.
